In more ways than one.. There are several different reasons why I don’t recommend this product.1. I am thoroughly disappointed at the notion of this being a "throwback." These maps were created only about 2.5 years ago. 2. “4 nostalgic maps from iconic series locations” I can understand the selection of the Queen Zenobia map, simply because Raid mode was an original feature in Revelations 1, but I disagree with the other 3 maps entirely. Resident Evil 6 wasn’t exactly a classic, or something we should all remember and enjoy in the years to come. It was a game that did not meet sales expectations, it had extremely mixed reviews/ratings, and is generally disliked by the core RE fan base. Why would we want to revisit something from a product that reeked of such mediocrity? Resident Evil 5 was a better received game than its successor, so there could have been at least one map from that game. Nostalgic? … what a joke.3. I fully understand that making the choice to go back to the original gameplay and formula of the classic Resident Evil games is something that needs to take a lot of consideration and is generally a huge risk, but the fans have been asking for this for a while. The least Capcom could have done was add maps from the older titles of the series to show that they still care about what the fans think. 4. I’m getting sick and tired of paying for DLC’s that merely port content over from previous games. It’s completely unoriginal. I honestly wouldn’t mind paying more to have maps created from scratch.. There are several different reasons why I don’t recommend this product.1. I honestly wouldn’t mind paying more to have maps created from scratch.. Should have been part of the main game and should have had better maps. The best one is porbably the Clock Tower from Revelations. The rest are almost awful.. ARCANE RAISE - CURATOR PAGEA complete waste of money if you purchase it separately (Complete Season gets it for free). Doesn't add nearly enough content to justify the 5$ price-tag. Avoid this DLC at all costs, it's simply not worth it.All you get is 4 copy-pasted stages from Resident Evil 6 with 3 difficulty levels (4x3=12 Missions).. 1 map from resident evil Revelations 1 and 3 maps from Resident evil 6.. Throw back is more of a RESIDENT evil 1-3. Not worth 5 bucks. Calling this a "throwback" is misleading and even dishonest on Capcom's part, as it only contains maps from Resident Evil 6 and Revelations 1. 80% of the raid mode maps are already pulled from RE6 content... this is no more of a throwback than any other map already in the game. The 4 maps recycled here aren't even particularly fun or enjoyable. In fact, I regard them as being among the worst raid maps in the entire package. There's really no reason to buy, as it fails to provide quality or even nostalgia.. Why buy this when the Whole Of raid Mode is a "Throwback Map Pack". After playing all 4 maps, 3/4 of the maps are Very very hard and will offer some challange and brings back some of the hardest/most anoying enemys from Rev1 and Re6. This pack will offer a challange for some and♥♥♥♥♥♥off others (my self included).. 1 map from resident evil Revelations 1 and 3 maps from Resident evil 6.. Throw back is more of a RESIDENT evil 1-3. Not worth 5 bucks
